Friendly Match with Stealers

Hello peeps! Haha I'm back yo!.. Sorry its been quite awhile I didn't update the blog. But anyways, I've got some news to update. Read on..

Yesterday (11/11/2007) we had a match against Stealers of Miri. Knights had the 1st match with the male Stealers at 0800hrs. The weather as so damn hot! It was a tough game because they played well. Its a tight game and the score was 7 to 8, Knights won. They played 7 innings and ended around 1000hrs. After the guys played, we (Sapphire) played against the female Stealers. We invited 3 ladies from Cougars to play with us since we don't have enough players. Initially the weather was fine but in the middle of playing it started to rain. We only played 3 innings because the rain was getting heavier. They played well and won the match. I don't know the score since there was no scorer.

After the game we had lunch, prepared by Mimie. Good food yea.. Heheh. Okay, I'll try to put some pictures soon.. Kumpul-kumpul dulu gambar. Sorry guys simple saja my blog. But keep on visiting yea?.. It means alot to me.. Aisehhh! Bah adios amigos!

Merdeka Day

Aah.. Another story for a brand new week! Yes, we went to Miri on the 1st and 2nd September for the softball carnival. We went off from KB at around 5:30am, early in the morning! Biasalah, bekumpul dulu baru jalan sama2. So we arrived at the Tamu Muhibbah's field and we were the first ones to arrive! Heheh, semangat! We did our warm-ups and throws/catch routines before we start the game. Our first game was with Element 10. They are Jag Star combined with Wildcats, also from Brunei. We lost the match but I have no idea what the score was. Next game was with KRP (Miri Softball Team) and fortunately we won the match! Hooray! They're friendly and see smiles upon their faces. Good game, KRP. In the afternoon we went against PLK Zombies (Brunei team) but again we lost the match.. Tough game. So the final game for that day (1st Sept) was with Critters (Miri Softball Team). They were damn good but again we won the match! So total up 4 games in one day! It was hot and sunny, plus some of us forgot to wear sunblocks!

2nd September, we played at 8am versus All Star. They're from Brunei as well. Gregor teamed up with R&R and Comets. Unfortunately we lost to them too. Its pretty tough since the pitcher from All Star is very aggressive, his pitch was hell fast! Just as the umpire said "Play ball" he pitched right away, not giving us any chance to get ready! Hahaha funny but we had fun. I don't know what your real name is but I know they call you Black, so well done to you Black. After we had our match with All Star, we were head to head with Stealers (also from Miri).. All I can say is.. "Oh my God!" they've hit alot of home runs! I think they're the best team in Miri. Aside that, they organized the carnival too. They've won the match with us. Well done Stealers. Our last but not least game would be us versus Wolf (Miri Softball Team) Their outfielders were good and steady. Every flyball that we hit, they caught it without hesitation! How I wish I could play like them.. Yep yep, they won the match too. I told you we played terrible! Our rank was number 6. So its not that bad when you think about it. (Saja kan nyaman kan rasa..)

Anyhoo, enough about softball. Lets talk about our stay at the Imperial Hotel. We took 2 apartments. One for the guys, and one for the girls. It was fun! Me, Shema (Baby), Damit and Ayu slept in one room, and the rest of the ladies slept in the living room. Bebeh and Boy slept in the Master bedroom. Bebeh paksa jaga lakinya sal si Boy jadi baby tua haha. He got injured when we played against Critters. It was a flyball hit by Critters and Boy managed to catch it. But somehow he injured his leg and he was in severe pain. We carried him to our camp. Still groaning in pain we decided to give him a jab (painkiller) and thats when he became an old baby! He was crying and shouting "Iiiiiiinndddaaaaaaaa!!! Inda ku mau bah!! Iiiiiinnnnnddddaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" finally I said "eh mau sakit beinject kah atau mau kaki sakit memanjang???" His eyes went droopy, gazing into space with his teary eyes and finally agreed for a jab. Luckily he didn't kick me. Mun inda, ku tandang balik! Hehe. Atu baru good boy. Jangan nangis lagi Boy. BIDA!!!

Ah yes, i woke up twice from my sleep that night. One was the sound of snore, came from Damit. It was hell funny. Only aku saja tau cana bunyinya.. Hint: Pok. Haha. And then my baby mengigau lagi tu. Guess what she said? "....zZzZz...Green IC....zZzZz...." Hahahaha cali baby me atu eh. Jangan marah baby. *wink*

Anyways, yesterday was the 4th of September.. It was my beloved baby's 26th birthday! We (Knights & Sapphire) had dinner at Sea View Hotel for steamboat. We ordered 15 portions altogether and thank God they've finished everything! Inda rugi yo! Hehe. I can see from the looks of Shema she was happy and excited. I hope you had fun baby.. I'm happy to see that you're happy. Oh yea! We had birthday cake too! Thanks to June who sponsored the cake. Nyaman June! Pandai ko memilih.. We started at 6:30pm and finished at about 9pm. Had to go because I'm working night shift.. :( Sabar saja.. But overall I enjoyed my time with her yesterday.. *mwah* Love you sayang.. (Boh jaga, out of topic sudah nie)

Alrightie! I'll stop now.. Kan tidur ku. Besok lagi friendly match with Gregor. Will upload pictures soon yea. Tata! Adios and good night..

Softball Exhibition

Finally the days are over.. 3 days straight working at the Mumong Complex for Sports exhibition. We started on the 24th of August till 26th August 2007. First day was ok because we started at 2pm but the second and third day we started at 10am till 10pm. Kan balik tapi rugi pasal siuk. Our booth was filled with jerseys, bats, helmets, pictures, gloves, medals and trophies on display. We've also got a pitching machine, borrowed from Banzai. Many people came to our booth for batting and catching tryouts. It was hell fun! We've also opened up registration for recruits (softball) and so far i think we got more than 60 new people signed up for it!.. Coolies right?.. I know. Heheh. On the 26/8/07 we got an outdoor demo and they were alot of people came for tryouts. Too bad i wasn't there to watch. Maklumlah, ahir bangun!

I went round the exhibition and they were also alot of associations such as Taekwondo, Karatedo, Kendo, Rugby, Paramotor, Athletics, Basketball, Ping Pong, Lawn Bowling etc etc. They're friendly and smiles were all around. Its good to know that we have these kinds of activities here in KB. A good way to promote extra curricular activities to the public especially little kids, teenagers and also the elderly. There was this one coach from St John's school approached our coach and asked for the details about softball. Finally she's signed up for new recruits. Her aim is to learnsoftball and teach students in her school. Way to go coach Vivian! We salute you!
